BRITISH STYLE - WILLIAM MORRIS

During the past 9 months, I've been gathering research from late 19th-century
British traditional prints, in particular, the work of William Morris.

He had an obvious talent for disciplined, formal designs where nature is depicted
in a state of ordered harmony. It's impressive but it's not my view of nature.

I'd like to use William Morris as a starting point for the theme of my new collection,
but use it to convey the way I see nature, as something wild and fragile.

I'll be showing more developments from the studio very soon but for now, here's
some delectable designs from William Morris:

'THE CHRYSANTHEMUM', UNFINISHED

WALLPAPER DESIGN

'THE STRAWBERRY THIEF'

'DOMESTIC CAMOUFLAGE' SHOOT FEATURING WM 'CHRYSANTHEMUM'

'WILLOW BOUGH' WALLPAPER
